I lost my job!

Some very interesting things have happened to me this month. It's still June as I write this (1 hour to go to July--so I'm speaking of June) Anyway, I lost my job, and it was the best thing that could have happened. I finally became a dedicated massage therapist--so I could make my car payment! I sure have been blessed with many clients--and working fewer hours and making more than I would have at the nursing home.

And not only having massage clients--but having opportunities to teach. I taught Kristie Olsen how to massage--so I would have my own personal massage practitioner (among other good reasons.) And now Amy wants to learn. She wants to learn because it would be a good thing to know, but also so that she could perhaps barter massage for other services. We both think that because she's an O.T. that she'd be able to legally do that, as there's something in Utah law about an O.T. being able to legally practice massage because of her profession. We'll check out the law, but either way, I think we'll be doing a few sessions together. I've enjoyed teaching Kristie so much; I'm sure it will be just as satisfying (or maybe even more so) teaching my REAL daughter.

So, it's been a hectic month, but a profitable one. I'll be able to comfortably make my car payment the first part of July--and I have lots of regular clients already scheduled for July...up, up, and away!
