OK, my blog isn't as professional looking as my daughter, Amy's, but it's my attempt to keep up with the modern world of communication. I used to assemble my letter-writing materials; you know, that cute pad of paper, my favorite purple pen, stamps, and address book--and proceed to document my life for my parents, mostly--but I've also been known to write prolifically to friends and my children and grandparents. In fact, Mom still has a huge notebook filled with letters I wrote when the kids were growing up. That notebook is stuffed with the memories of Renee' pulling out her loose teeth before they could fall out (leaving the root in the gum), Amy chewing on the crib rail, and Ellen falling off her bike because of the big earthquake...things like that.
But it's a new age, I guess, and this way everyone can read the latest--if they want to. Not as much interesting happening because the girls are all grown, but there might be things of interest--maybe my thoughts, like Amy's?--that people could tap into. That is, if I can have any thoughts after all the time I'm spending these days cramming facts into my mind for this upcoming test--April 23rd, I hope to regain my life, such as it is.
So, my blog is "on the cutting edge--again" Mom will understand. It's still happening. I'll explain it in another blog. I'm too tired now. My brain is fried. I need a movie. Know a good one, Amy? You had 5 days to preview them!

Great job in setting up your blog! Can I put a link on my blog to your blog? You can do the same on yours too. Someday I'll show you how to sort of "jazz" them up although I really don't know nearly as much as some people. I'd allow anonymous comments though - I've gotten some interesting comments from people I don't even know at times and people usually identify themselves.
You're so cute! I love the way you can really hear your voice in your blog. I have set up my blog, but not personalized it yet. It's not really ready for viewing yet, but I think what Amy said is a good idea. Put a link to hers, and let her put a link to yours and eventually we'll all be connected! :)
